               Experiment Detail
Healthy, symptomless leaves of Aegle marmelos were collected from Yamuna Nagar district of Haryana, India. To prepare the inoculum of the fungal culture, Erlenmeyer conical flasks of capacity 500 ml containing potato dextrose broth (PDB, 200 ml) were used. The flasks were inoculated with fungal agar plugs, kept in shaking incubator at 28 ℃ with 150 rpm for 3 days. The prepared inoculums (10%) was used to obtain large amount of fermented culture broths in Erlenmeyer flasks (1 l) containing PDB (350 ml). The flasks were kept in shaking incubator at 28 ℃ with 150 rpm and dark for 10 days.
