               Experiment Detail
V. divergens leaves with no marks or injuries were collected from 21 plants located in the Pantanal sul-mato-grossense/Brazil, specifically in two regions of the Pantanal of Miranda, Abobral (19° 30′ 09.5″ S, 57° 02′ 32.2″ W) and Sao Bento (19° 28′ 53.9″ S, 57° 02′ 36.9″ W). A large-scale fermentation (10 L) of strain LGMB491 was performed using SG culture medium at 36 ℃ for 10 days.

               Experiment Detail
Jishengella endophytica 161111 was isolated and identified from the healthy roots of the mangrove plant, Xylocarpus granatum, collected from the mangrove reserve zone in Hainan Province, China. The spores of J. endophytica 161111 were directly cultured in 1000 mL Erlenmeyer flasks containing 200 mL fermentation media consisted of glucose 2%, yeast extract 0.5%, peptone 0.5%, KNO3 1.5%, CaCO3 0.4%, and NaCl 0.4% (pH 7.2). The cultures were incubated on a rotatory shaker at 220 rpm at 28 ℃ for 30 days.

               Experiment Detail
Strain LgMB259 was isolated by V. divergens leaves collected from the Pantanal, in the region of Nhecol ndia (S18° 10.07′, W57° 23.03′) in Brazil. The Microbispora sp. LGMB259 was cultivated on ISP3-agar plates at 37 ℃ for 7 days. Chunks of agar with the fully-grown strains were used to inoculate five (250 mL) Erlenmeyer flasks, each containing 50 mL of R5A medium . Individual cultures were grown at 37 ℃ for 3 days and subsequently used as seed cultures for the scale-up fermentation. The seed cultures were used to inoculate 80 Erlenmeyer flasks (250 mL) each containing 100 mL of R5A medium. Fermentation (8 L) was continued at 37 ℃ with, shaking (250 rpm) for 10 days.
