Trichoderma virens FY06 was purified from the root of L. chinensis and stored at the College of Materials and Energy, South China Agricultural University. After the initial culture on potato dextrose agar plates, the fermentations were scaled up at 25 ℃ for 30 days in 75 × 1 L Erlenmeyer flasks statically, each containing autoclaved rice medium (120 mL water, 65 g rice).
