               Experiment Detail
The endophytic fungus Pleosporales sp. F46 was isolated from the pedicel of M. fortunei collected from Qingdao, People's Republic of China. For large-scale fermentation, the strain was cultured on PDA at 28 ℃ for one week. Agar plugs were cut into small pieces and 40 pieces were used to inoculate 20 flasks (1 L) each containing 80 g of rice, 120 mL of water, and 0.3% peptone. The cultures were maintained in an incubator at 28 ℃ for two months.
